It can be post-season’s finale, the wedding fiasco could had never happened, it’s entirely up to you. Carmen/Shane decides they want a child and hire a surrogate. >>> CHALLENGE TWO: Post-season’s finale. Shane & Carmen never find happiness in their life. Carmen places an ad in the paper, she is searching for a “longtime surrogate partner.” (In other words, she wants someone to raise a baby with.) Her ad is short and sweet - no sex/love/etc required, but a good second parent for her baby. Since ,Shay’s departure, Shane’s always feels a gap in her life. So, she decides to answer the ad. >>> CHALLENGE THREE:Post-season’s finale. Shane realizes that she will never have children and donates her eggs. Carmen and her new partner decide to have children, but Carmen’s eggs aren’t viable. She is implanted with Shane’s eggs. By accident, Carmen discovers that she is carrying Shane’s baby.
